Default Today's Poll Question: Shipboard Activities

Todays Question: What SCHEDULED shipboard activity is your favorite? (I know people will say sitting out in the sun by the pool, but that is not a scheduled activity offered on the ship.)

I like the trivia games, and the culinary demonstrations, the wine tastings and on Celebrity, the martini tasting!

I'm with you rollerdonna. That's the only one I can think of. If we aren't allowed to say sunning, or casino lessons or racing to a lounge for a pre dinner drink........then I guess it would be dinner. <VBG> :-)))

I'm with Lisa -
I like the trivia games, the culinary demonstrations and the wine tastings.
That's about it though.
I am there to relax. I live by a clock at home, I refuse to do it on vacation!

You're right ! Have taken advantage of the lessons too. And won at the slot tournament on the Regal and won at the horse racing on the Royal. Well, actually I didn't win on the race.........won on one of the 'losers' tickets being picked out of a hat !! haha

We almost never take advantage of the scheduled activities. So I'd have to agree with Rollerdonna and say "dinner."

I miss my cruise lunches.

I'm a trivia person.

By the way, if you don't know the answer, if you put down Angie Dickinson, it's usually funny.

For example:

Q: What's the busiest port in the world?

A: Angie Dickinson!

Try it sometime :-)

Other than trivia, we usually blow off most of the other planned activities ... ecept dinner, of course. :-)

We go to the shows. It just impresses me how hard these kids work and the performance they manage to put together while on a moving ship.

We're usually so darn busy creating our own CM activities we don't have much time for the ship organized stuff.

We do have great fun with horse races, if we're cruising a line, that has the auctions and horse dress up.

Did enter a hairy legs contest once, but Mrs Kuki laughed at me, and I didn't win, so no confidence left for that anymore <G>

I do enjoy many of the ship's lounges in the evening if the entertainment is good.

My number 1 shipboard activity is people watching. The passengers often put on the best shows.

Regards,
Kuki

I'd have to say the production shows and horseracing if they have it.

I agree with donna, the dining experience is one of my favorite activities. I also like the shows in the evening, some of the lounge activities that get the cruisers invloved, and the finals in the horse racing events. On our last cruise, I got to see the passengers talent show and enjoyed that. Seems like the young kids had some of the best talent and other than one singer it was a great deal of fun.

Dinner gets my vote, too, but then the Martini tasting wasn't too bad either! When I'm on a cruise, I try to get away from structure, having to be at a certain place a certain time!!!

How about horse races by the pool on RCCL, trivia, and does eating count?
