Default Snow storm brings out the best in people...NOT!

Well my wonderful neighbors across the street had there "wonderful" son plow their driveway right in front of ours! Any suggestions of what we should do?
We have had almost 3 feet of snow..so you can imagine how much of a pile he made at our driveway!

I do believe that most city's have an ordinance against such practices.
Perhaps a call placed either to the village hall or the police would elicit
the proper reply.

i would call your neighbors and politely tell them that their son plowed in your driveway by mistake and that you can't possibly shovel that much snow. You don't want to start a neighbors war over this.

My son got out of the driveway this morning to go to work..but he kept getting stuck, I did call my neignbor a little while ago to explain what happened ....and guess what..she said her son probably could not fix it because his plow is now broke....right! I believe that...well if I get mad enough and get my son and his friends together tonight..guess where that snow is going?

I know what that kinda snow can look like!!! In our subdivision, those that haven't paid their HOA dues for snow plowing end up with the plowed snow in FRONT of their driveways! In our 8 years living here, it's only happened to ONE family! Gets those checks written...that's for sure.

On the DC news last night, it was showing how to plow and shovel the driveways into the RIGHT side of of the driveways, INTO the road so the plows could take the snow away. Obviously your neoghbor didn't see the report!

Keep warm...32 inches on the ground here in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia!

Take Care!

Maybe you could offer that you have a perfectly good snow shovel that he could use since his plow is broken. They sound like my neighbors - who back the straight across the road and back into the trees on our lawn. Or the ones further down that plow/shovel the snow right into the middle of the road and leave it, make it unsafe to travel (we live on an extremely steep hill which the town likes to ignore).
Good Luck. We missed out on the snow storm. I was hoping to get at least a little.

I know where you're coming from Salem. Believe me, there have been times when I'd like to have beaten a neighbour or a snow-plow driver with my shovel!! Strangely enough, Montreal got NONE of that east coast blizzard. The only GOOD thing was that the storm moving upwards finally broke our cold spell, and we had a heat-wave today of -6C, which is a whole lot better than -25!!

Yes, good ol' Canadian Celcius. Even better news! It's supposed to go up to +2 tomorrow! That's the first time we've been above zero in weeks. I think that's around 32 in the old farenheit. Bearable enough to walk the dog again!
