Morning cruisers. We've got a high in the 40's expected today in central Texas with more rain. It was an extremely dreary, drippy weekend, and I guess Monday is going to be more of the same. At least I "get to go" to work.
Good morning Lisa, Mermaid and all the CM to follow. I'm sad to say I can beat that temp Lisa...it is 5 here this morning. Will this winter ever end? On my final countdown until Brilliance!!!!!!!! Almost time to start counting the hours. Have a great day folks.

G'Morning to everyone ! from reading the message board this AM i see why you guys love cruising with all the cold weather you are having .. Its a chance to get warm when you take a cruise .. I myself dont really think i could handle or take that bitterness everyday .. Guess you could say i am lucky to be a Carolina Girl ... Wishing everyone a great Monday and may it be filled with ** Smiles **
Would you believe a wind chill factor of -40C (that is -40F as well!) Yesterday we had balmy temps of +3C (about 35F) and 1/2 day of snow followed by 1/2 day of rain. Then temps plummeted to the -26C we woke up to this morning, with wind chill at -40C.
Everything is frozen, and I have to WALK to the vets to pick up my puppy who was boarding over the weekend. Then I have to walk to the train to go to work. I am going to be a popsicle by the time I get there!
Wishing you all a much warmer day......Donna
P.S. For a review of my weekend rail adventure, check out the "Rail Travel versus Cruise Travel" posting a few posts back....
It's in the 30's here in Delaware but at least the sun is shining. Bad news is that I am driving home to NY today and just saw that the wind chill in NYC is -1. NYC is always warmer than Islip. Oh well 50 was nice while it lasted.
GM, CM. A cold blue Monday 9F, 3 weeks before spring. I'm thinking of making a couple of posters:
"Wanted DEAD! Punxsetawney Phil. For cowardice in the face of shadows."
"Wanted DEAD! Buckeye Chuck! For fraudulent prognostications."
The good news...I will likely cruise again before the end of this year. My wife is serious about taking that stamping cruise. While she's in class, I'll be inspecting the Enchantment. When we make the down payment, I'll start the countdown. Until then, my "woohoo" is on hold.
Good Morning from a chilly Arizona. The clouds finally cleared out - no more moisture for a few days - and it got cold overnight! I'm definitely wearing a sweater today, especially since the little red midlife crisis car is parked in the driveway and not in the garage! Have a great Monday, everyone!
Good morning from sunny Florida.....well another week ahead of me and I am on my own.My mother in law left so I have to do everything during the day. Some stitches are coming out this week and I am so much hoping I can sleep in my own bed tonight! Have been sleeping on the sofa all last week due to the operation!
Steve, I have sailed on the Enchantment before, she is a great ship! When are you planning on going?
Donna looks like your foot is healed and you are ready to walk!
Everyone have a blessed day...............

Sue, we'd be there Sept 15-20, if a positive decision is made. Stops include KW, Coz, and Belize, with one sea day depending on which site gives the information. I don't really care about ports of call, I like sea days. One site shows our return route passing between Cuba and Haiti during our sea day. That would be an interesting passage to see, I think.
Good Morning from NE Illinois. Cold & sunny
Doc's will be coming to my office today or tomorrow.
Can you imagine the receptionists face when I kiss the
UPS guy. Boy this was a long weekend. Have a great day everyone
Good morning. It's raining again. ugh! My car is filthy. Everytime I wash it, it rains. :O(
We have a BIG car show this month on the 15,16th. Usually there are over 300 cars at this event. I am putting my car in it this year along with the Nova. :O)
Have a great week everyone!
Good Morning cruisemates! Seems like most everyone is experiencing weather we could live without! Snow and cold in Calgary... with more snow predicted throughout the week. I've reached THAT point.... I've HAD ENOUGH!
Again into the 90's in S. Fla. again today. Nursing a sunburn from the weekend by the pool and the ride down A1A with our top down (we also had the roof of the car down) sheeeesh... the looks we get... Have a great week..
Jason If a grin is transmittable, and laughing is contagious, here’s hoping for an epidemic!
I'm late today, was up first thing for my pre-cruise dental check-up and cleaning! Kind of like the tune-up you do on the car before a road trip!!! :-)
Luckily, no problems and the cracked tooth Anthony fixed is holding up quite well, thank goodness. The thoughts of capping all four front teeth gives me nightmares!!!
No snow yet, Phyll, but you can send it on down any time now!!! But with 12 sleeps to go I do not want a blizzard on the 15th!!!!
My sister is heading my way today or tomorrow from the U.P. so that will be nice, we'll get in a quick visit before she spends spring break with my niece! Becky is 21 today and that means my sister will be 63 soon. Talk about a late-in-life baby, but it's kept her young!!!
Off I go to sort clothes, I'm still determined to use only one suitcase!!!
