Here I am up late again. As Mike M commented knock off the coffee.
Good Morning CruiseMates.
After 4 inches of rain this weekend we need a drying out period. My yard is saturated with water, the Koi fish ponds we have are over flowing and any cement scape we have is floating. The garage floor and patios are bubbling like an underwater spring. The house is sound and we are thankful.
Overall; we have a cruise booked and that is our salvation.
Almost forgot, Happy St. Patrick's Day

It suddenly seems more spring like here in Northern Vermont. Yesterday we hit the 60's. About a 40 degree hike in one day. Lots of melting snow. It's already 40 this morning. Only problem now is if it melts to fast and we get rain it could cause ice jams in the rivers. Hope the rain called for later this week won't be too much.
Just a few hours of sun yesterday have perked me right up. I feel like a new person.
Happy St Patricks Day. Perhaps it's the "Luck of the Irish" but the temps today are supposed to get as high as 60f here in NY. 30% chance of rain but it should hold off until after the Parade. Perhaps Spring is really on it's way.
Good Morning from the soggy Arizona desert. We're supposed to get more rain today, but that's good. We need it! Yesterday, in Flagstaff, the snowflakes were the biggest I remember seeing in years! The drive home was pretty scary for the first 30 miles. The snow was so heavy and there was so much of it, that you couldn't even see the car in front of you! Luckily, after about 30 miles or so, you drop down off the Mogollon rim and lose elevation rapidly, so the snow turned to rain. But it was still very heavy and made seeing very difficult. It didn't let up until the Verde River, about 60 miles from Flagstaff. Then it finally got a little easier going. But we made it home safely, and I'm here to wish all my fellow Cruise Mates a very happy St. Patrick's day!
Mike M., I read about your accident yesterday, and I hope everyone is doing better today. Thank the Lord that no one was killed!
Good morning Cruisemates and a blessed St. Patrick's Day to you all! To help brighten your day, here is a prayer normally attributed to St. Patrick:
This day I call to me:
God's strength to direct me,
God's power to sustain me,
God's wisdom to guide me,
God's vision to light me,
God's ear to my hearing,
God's word to my speaking,
God's hand to uphold me,
God's pathway before me,
God's shield to protect me,
God's legions to save me.
Everyone have a great Monday. Off to catch up on the boards before I get down to business.
p.s. Phyll - love the bear!

Now posting as MichelleP.
Good Morning cruisemates! We had 4 seasons in Calgary this weekend. Saturday temps were in the 60s F, yesterday morning a lovely spring rain and warm, by afternoon it was snowing heavily, and highways around the city were closed.
GMCM. Erin go bragh. A beautiful day in this neighborhood. We just finished the first full week since December that no new snow fell. The last remnants of the drifts are disappearing. And, as soon as the west coast TA opens, we're booking a cruise! All I need is Michelob! May all of your days be as pleasant.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your advice, comments, etc. to help us first time cruisers. Our time is VERY near and the excitement level is unmeasurable! Spring has sprung at last here in Montreal, but unfortunately, also in our basement! Had the plumber in to install a new sump pump this morning, before all those feet of snow in the driveway melt down into our garage! Still, it's warmer at least. Actually went out without the long-john s and neck warmer today!
