Default Electric Adapters

My wife and I are sailing on the Dawn on 5/25/2003.

I'm told that the electric outlets will not accomodate normal voltage.

What kind of an adapter would we need ?

Thanks

you have been given incorrect information. The outlets in your cabin will accomodate a standard hairdryer, curling iron, steam iron things like that with no need for an adapter, i haven't brought one as of yet.

That's right. Ships follow standard U.S. voltage and have standard U.S. plugs.

It's not until you are traveling abroad that you run into a problem I think. At least I have not experienced it in the Carib.

You got bad advice, Fred.

But do take a along a "cube tap" or short extension cord to give you more outlets.
