Hello all, just a quick question.. Does anyone know if the airlines have any linear limits on suitcases? i am only taking one, but it is rather large...Airline in question is United Airlines. The twins

check the weight, some of the airlines now have weight restrictions and they will charge you extra for baggage that is over the limit. Call the airline you are traveling or or visit their website.
Weight limit for checked baggage on United is 50 lbs/per bag. One big one that is over 50 lbs will get charged for overweight. The 62 inches quoted above is correct.

The twins did not ask about weight. I assume that they, as well informed travellers, already knew the weight restrictions so I would not clutter up my post with extraneous information.
