Hi everyone, What is your agenda for Easter?
Ours will be having the out-laws over for dinner and conversation. Nothing special and a simple meal, honey baked ham, bourbon sweet potatoes, salad and fresh bread. Of course a dessert (store bought) to finish off the day.
Happy bunny Sunday all.

We'll be doing Easter dinner at our house for the dads, my sister and her husband and my brother. Ham with all kinds of side dishes. No store bought dessert (sadly). I'll be making the cake in the lamb mold my mother always used.......we take bets on when the head falls off. I usually seem to lose an ear when icing it......toothpicks work wonders!
Well we are doing what we always do on Easter and that is spending time with the family and friends , cooking out and hiding eggs with the young ones .. We always give prizes for the most eggs, least eggs , and special egg that is found .. The kids always love it this way espically when a gift is involved . Last Easter we took the pop up camper my husband won in a drawing at a RV show and went camping at the Beach , we hid eggs there and had a wonderful time so much fun we decided to stay a extra day .. Well all have a wonderful and safe Easter .. Try to stay dry as well .. The rain is back here in NC ( UGGG )
Going to my sisters house , watch our cruise videos, look at pictures talk about our
cruise memories, discuss our upcoming cruise plans, sit around the fire outside
drinking champagne then walk down the street to Matt's (local tavern) and eat
linner (lunch/dinner) as his mom & aunt are great cooks. No Easter eggs for us.
Maybe Ham & Kugelas on Sat. with daughter or by ourselves if she can't make it.
Costa Atlantica, 3/23/03
Jewel, 2/1/10, RCI cancelled our cruise, (insert sound of sobbing)
Everyone we would normally be spending Easter with is driving to Boca Raton to spend it with Mark's brother-in-law's parents, and we're not, so Mark and I will have a quiet Easter together at home. If I'm feeling inspired I might cook something interesting, but probably not.
Land Cruise, Britain and Belgium
Now posting as MichelleP.
Easter morning we will have Catherine and John over for breakfast with Sabrina and Donald. Baby's first Easter for Donald. They will then go on to the other grandparents for dinner.
We then move on to my in laws where we will see the rest of our family. Christina and Phil will be there with Caroline and Philip.
We bought very inexpensive digitil cameras for Caroline and Sabrina. They always want to take pictures, so we thought this might work out. No film or developing and they can see their photos right away on any computer. We picked up these Argus cameras at Office Max for $19.99 each.
First we have our traditional easter breakfast with the kids...we hit the colored hard boiled eggs on the top and who ever does not have a cracked egg at the end is a winner. After that we are going to church and then off to our friends house. We change into shorts <this is Florida> and then we will eat in the afternoon. In between we swim in the pool or maybe go out on the boat.
Food wise I am bringing a ham from the Honey baked Ham company, we have shrimps salad etc. For desert we have fresh strawberries, pumpkin pie <yuck> and whip cream.Plus the kids will look for eggs sometime in the afternoon but inside.Due to the heat here in Florida the chocolate would melt in an instant.
Thats our day! Now I have not bought any eggs or color. After the event with our church tomorrow morning we will stop and buy the eggs and do them at night.
We are moving shortly and monday I have to start packing ...............
June 1st 2015--- Denali Explorer Cruise on Star Princess!
For once, a very quiet holiday. I'll be cooking a ham and the usual side dishes - wow - bourbon sweet potatoes!!?? I need to hear more about these potatoes!
My 15 year old daughter is setting sail on Monday - her High School dance group (she is a lead dancer in this show) is performing next week aboard the Carnival Celebration. We're very excited for her and SO proud too!
I'll be helping her finish packing, making sure all her costumes and dance shoes are where they belong - and I am sure she and her sleep-over pals will be up *all* night!
My brother and his wife and my little neice and baby nephew will be stopping over so I will get my *little kid fix* at least for a while tomorrow.
Hubby has to work from early morning until early afternoon - the Wall Street firm that pays for our cruises is doing a complete power down for 26 hours- he's been working his butt off preparing his guys for the weekend project- Sunday is power-up - so he will have to be in the office for a while on Easter too.
Oh well.... like I said - it pays for our cruise habit!!! lol
Happy Easter Everyone! May the Bunny grant all your cruise wishes, and more!
Location: Wisconsin....about 100 miles south of the Frozen Tundra and 70 miles east of Camp Randall
