Happy Friday. I hope you all have wonderful, relaxing plans for the weekend. We are visiting the "cake lady" to book her for my daughter's wedding. I sure hope she has samples for us. We are expecting rain in the "Burgh" today but the weekend looks pleasant! Have a great day and weekend, friends.

Good morning from Orlando. Gaile and Mary Lou are on the same wavelenght this am. If my computer had let me on a few minutes ago we would've had 3 good mornings! Tonight is finally the marching band banquet. Should be some funny awards and lots of laughs.......but first the hall must be decorated and a few million other things to do.(at least it feels like a million)
Good Morning Tweety, Mary Lou, Angela and all who follow. It's National Maritime Day today, according to the news station. not sure what that means, I'm sure someone will enlighten us though. Great weekend ahead, mid 70's, partly cloudy. Have a great day everyone, see ya on the boards. :-)
I know, I cheated, copy and paste is wonderful. ;-)
Costa Atlantica, 3/23/03
Jewel, 2/1/10, RCI cancelled our cruise, (insert sound of sobbing)
ML, we booked our cake baker a few weeks ago and she gave us two 6-inch samples - yummy!
Angela - I remember the band banquets from my high school - I was treasurer-historian my senior year which meant I had to put together a slide show of pictures taken throughout the year with humorous captions on them. I'm sure nobody remembers it anymore but it was fun to put together.
Everyone have a terrific Friday.
Land Cruise, Britain and Belgium
Now posting as MichelleP.
A cloudy day here. Last night's dinner with the group from the cruise was lots of fun!
We ate a small Cuban/American restaurant. I had a great big bowl of Cajun Jambalaya with a side of seasoned black beans and onions swimming in sour cream.
DEEEEEELICIOUS!!!! Can't wait til our cruise next March.
And, Marc, National Maritime Day is an annual celebration of the contributions of the American Merchant Marine. It's held every year on May 22. For more information, check out http://www.cr.nps.gov/maritime.
