The activities are up to the Cruise Director, but for the most part they are quite similar. the itinerary makes a difference.

Alaska Patters wouldn't be the same as in the Caribbean.

"Snorkeling off Skagway, 11:00 AM.."

"Polar Bear Watch off Grand Cayman 2:00 PM."

Cruise Director dictates lots of the daily activities and believe me, on Princess, the past 3 cruises, I've seen the best and worst.

Tim Donavon is one of the best (Short of John Heald of Carnival) on the high seas. The cruise staff didn't only do their assigned activities, but they walked around the ship at all times of the day chatting with passengers, etc, checking to see if they were having a good time, etc.

The last cruise, Grahm was about the sloppiest I have ever seen, the staff barely wanted to be at their assigned activites and don't even think about chatting with them any other time or as the assigned times were done.
