I have been amongst the missing for a couple of weeks, because I have finally found a sport that I have fallen in love with.
Have been to all the play-off games, and home Stanley Cup games for the Mighty Ducks hockey team-absolutely love the team, the fans, and everything involved.
Mark is getting a kick out of seeing me so enthused. Like baseball and football, but hockey is awesome, and finding it out at my age-PRICELESS!
GO DUCKS! Tomorrow is the final game.
What's your favorite sport? Come on girls, what's your opinion?

Ohhhh, Lisa! Go Bears!!! Been awhile since we waged a "friendly" rivalry!!! :-)
Hi, Cher! My sister loves hockey, too! My other sister and I are not competitive but one of us not only loves to watch but loves that contact, we used to call her "bulldozer"! Now I call her that only when I have a big head start!!! :-)
I have to admit that I'm a BIG football fan. Since our own home team sucks big time and no one has really been able to get behind them since they first dame to Phoenix, I find myself with a large number of teams behind whom to throw my support!
Josť, being from Costa Rica, where football means soccer, has no clue what is going on in the game of American football, but he's a good sport in watching with me. He thinks the whole object of the game must be to see how many guys can pile on top of each other, since that seems to be most of the action during most of the game. !
Since Jerry Colangelo brought major league baseball to the Valley, this being our 6th season, I am also becoming a baseball fan. Love those Diamondbacks!
I feel for ya' Jennifer. I used to be a Cardinal fan when they were in St. Louis and had Don Coryell as coach, Jim Hart as QB, Otis Anderson as RB, Roger Wehrli as FS, Dan Dierdorf, Tom Banks, Conrad Dobler, et. al. For a period of time they were fairly good, but not for long. Bill Bidwill just doesn't want to field a winning team and have to pay those salaries.
I'm a sometimes baseball fan when out-of-town friends come through and I have to go to Wrigley. Hard not to get caught up in Wrigleyville! I even drive to the ball park to the amazement of my friends!!! :-) Go Cubs!
Well, I'll tell you even though I'll get boo-ed out of these boards, but the best always has been (even though it was a bad year) and always will be college football and the Nebraska Cornhuskers!!! Memorial Stadium in Lincoln will always be sold out with the "Husker Faithful" through good times and bad.
Location: Wisconsin....about 100 miles south of the Frozen Tundra and 70 miles east of Camp Randall
Re: Favorite Sport?
Oh Sue!! I see you have reinforcements this year! lol No matter, it is still a great rivalry! And though I do cheer the Brewers, the Cubs do fascinate me at times....and I do love the fact they beat the Yankess!!!
Carnival Breeze with Ray Band Aerogirl 5/4/14!
Not a sports fan, except if the Montreal Canadiens are in the Stanley Cup playoffs, which has been a few years now. Probably the best hockey I ever watched was the 1972 Canada/Russia hockey series. Up here in Montreal, it's hockey all the way!
Thanks, lot's of us sports fans out there.
Just got back from the Pond, and sorry to say, My Ducks lost to the Devils, but what a ride, will look forward to seeing them repeat the effort next year. Glad that Giguere got the Con-Smythe trophy though, that was a great consolation.
Have a good week everyone.
