Default Trouble with Internet Explorer

I'm having trouble accessing the message boards with Internet Explorer. In fact, I had to (gasp!) switch to Netscape to get on.

Here's the error message I'm getting:

Problem Report
The system detected HTTP Error Invalid Request while attempting to retrieve the URL: http://cruise-forums.com/forums/index2.php.

Message ID
REQUEST_INVALID

Problem Description
The system did not accept the HTTP request.

Possible Problem Cause
The browser used 'Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)' and generated a malformed HTTP request. This problem should not be encountered by a stable commercial browser.

Possible Solution
Contact your Web browser technical support team if the problem persists, and provide the team your account information.

Cruisemates homepage and navigation bar load with no problems. Any ideas? Thanks.

Cheers,
Michelle B.

The computer-guru in our family keeps trying to get me to use Mozilla as a popup and/or spam blocker. At least, I think that's the one he keeps talking about. If you have the feature in your explorer, try the ALT CTL DEL to turn off the application. Another possiblity is that another application may have reset your security settings. You might start at either one of those locations. Good luck!

Michelle,
I'm using Explorer 5.0 without any problem. you may have to reload Explorer if it continues. Been there done that a few times.

I'm using Explorer Michelle and so far no problems.

Wish I could help you out, but you'd probably blow your computer up if you followed my advise.

I just exited and reloaded Internet Explorer and the problem resolved itself. Thanks, Jason.

DUH, should've tried that first.

Cheers,

I've found (as a non-computer person) that the latest versions of Explorer and Netscape have more "Bells and Whistles," but they get mucked up faster!
