Researching my upcoming cruises, today I discovered a webcam overlooking the harbor of Georgetown, GC. Guess whom I saw in port. Wouldn't you know it? I couldn't
believe my luck. I thought I was getting over her. Not so!
The webcam updates every five minutes. I spent more than 30 minutes watching her as she turned around, belched a plume of exhaust, and sailed away in five minute increments, each increment a sting for me. Within the past 10 minutes or so, she disappeared over the horizon. She left me again!
"Sensation, my obsession, ya done me so right, then done me so wrong.
Sensation, my obsession, next time you go out, take me along."
That's alright! I'll be seeing her in Coz when I visit there in September aboard Enchantment. If we use the same moorings as in February, we'll be at the International pier, she'll be at Puerta Maya, right next door.
When we were there in February, I could see Enchantment from aboard Sensation. I even took some pictures of her. How could I know that her presence and proximity were an omen that she would be our next ship?
The sea, the wind, and the times move in unfathomable currents and unbreachable waves. We drown if we dare to swim against them. So when I see Sensation in September, I'll lovingly wave at her across the quay--with my thumb firmly against my nose! And I'll do the same thing if our tracks should cross when I'm aboard her sister next March. Leave me behind? Allow others to slumber in my berth? My honor shall be avenged! [VBG]
(Yes, I'm nuts--but that's why I love this site!)
