Update in cruise situation

Red laughed at the doctor - said she was going. And I don't doubt that she did (he was going to let her go anyways).

They did however decide to downgrade to a Cat 9A from a 12. Since I broke out into my own cabin, they decided they didn't need the size or price of a large cabin. I was able to get them Cabin 6452 with the wrap around balcony which I know they will love.

Plans are back on track and I can be excited not to be going by myself.

OK - so now I can do the Docs in Hand dance....

Congratulations on the change in plans. I know how important it was to you that they go along.

Now...not to rain on your parade, but, perhaps to sprinkle a little, 6452 is right above a very noisy lounge. Susancruzs and I had booked 6473 for our Glory cruise last fall, but were advised by some earlier cruisers to avoid those cabins unless we were really into the night life. A large part of the group we were with had several cabins in a row on deck 6 right above the lounge, and they confirmed that the beat of the bass deep into the night was very dEfinitely heard and felt. Susie and I changed to cabin 7434 and were very happy with our choice. Is one of those corner wrap-arounds available on deck 7 or above? If not, take along the cotton or the ear plugs and ENJOY!!!!

Sarah, there was a $100 change fee and the remainder was refunded.

Dezert - Red and Gardner will be one of the ones making the noise in the lounge. I also informed them of location and they still said book it. I also asked my TA about it and she had actually been in cabin 6483 - same cabin Starboard Side - and she said that there was a little disturbance, but nothing that would keep you awake. I trust her, but still, I told R/G and they weren't phased. They will probably shut down the casino every night.
