What is this wet stuff coming at us sideways in sheets? Can it be...? Is it...? Is this what they call RAIN? We had a doozy of a monsoon storm last night, including 30-ft trees lying over sideways, one of them on top of a brand new Camry! One stop light pole bent over to the ground. But we got some of that wet stuff, and there were a few drops falling again a little while ago, with the promise of more later this evening. This is our first measureable rain since April! Bring it on!
Way to go Jennifer in Arizona! Must be the rain that finally left Montreal! We've had 3 beautiful days so far, and the rest of the week looks good too. Temps are comfortable too, no humidity for a change. Enjoy the break from the heat!
I don't know Jen, I have been in Arizona twice and always heard about dry heat. Both times I was there it rained almost the whole time. And when it rains everything seems to flood. Don't envy you. Temps in excess of 100 and rain make for pretty uncomfortable weather.
Too bad my daughter isnt still there -- she really loved the monsoon warning and had hope the weather would make her flight delayed--- oh well she's still thinking about moving there----
Funny rain here too-- just a few drops -- were having some sort of tropical weather here- in CA at least thats what our local papers says-- we call it earthquake weather hahaha even if its not funny
Hope you get all the rain you want
I did have a tropical martini last night-- yummy but the french ones on a ship are still better
