To anyone who will be cruising on Royal Caribbean's "Voyager of the Seas" from New York City to the Western Caribbean next May 21, 2004.
Since there will be several days at sea during this particular cruise, I am interested to know if there will be individuals who play Mah Jongg. If so, do you have a Mah Jongg set? I do have a small, travelling set of Mah Jongg that I will take with me on May 21,2004. Also, you will have to bring your own Official Standard Hands and Rules for 2004. I hope to hear from someone who enjoys playing Mah Jongg.
I used to play Mah Jongg and can't for the life of me think why it's so diruptive to other people. Of course that was just with 4 friends playing together.

There is a LARGE Mah Jongg group cruise, once a year, normally in early Dec. Think they normally get around 350 Maj players, and they do take alot of space around the ship for their activities.
Not unlike any other large affinity groups or conventions you might find onboard.
On an average cruise you probably wouldnt realize if people were somewhere playing Maj or not.
You will not convince me. These people completely ruined my caribbean cruise. I will never give any good opinion of them, they are very rude and obnoxious people. Who else would assume that everyone would love this game and therefore put up with the very bad mannered behaviour that was evidant.
If you are on this cruise you will never be able to be in the card room or be anywhere quiet, trust me.!!!!!
