Default The blind opera singer on Princess

Ok, I know I'm not crazy, but can someone confirm this ....

When we left LA on the Star Princess in February, they were piping over the loud speakers that blind opera singer as we pulled away from the dock -- was too neat! (Sorry can't remember his name)

Anyone else had the same experience on the Star (Chuck??), or did one of the passengers just have a really loud boombox?

:-)

Harry

It's Andrea Bocelli, he's great! "Time to Say Goodbye!" His duet of that number with Sarah Brightman is the best.

Thanks for the name! Anyone can confirm they play him at sailaway on the Star Princess? I *know* I was on my balcony and heard him.

Dear Harry,
You have a form of tinnitus known as "Bocellitus." Get to an audiologist ASAP. And also a psychiatrist.

Cheers,
Michelle B.

Yes, they played it at sail away on our cruise too. It was very effective. Gosh I wish I were on the Star Princess right now, I could be out on deck eating my cereal and fruit right now. Ugh! Reality sets in.

Thanks Chuck!!! I knew I wasn't nuts (or not there yet!)

I agree on it being something else -- brought a shiver down my spine (and it wasn't just the chilly weather in Long Beach) :-)
