I just had a snowball and....

I just had a chocolate snowball with ice cream on top.
Is anyone old like me (52) that actually remember when chocolate on snowballs was not watered down colored flavoring?
This snowball is horrible!!!

Hostess cupcakes were chocolate. Twinkies were just discustind with bo flavor.

We were more of a Tastykake family when I was growing up but my mother in law introduced my daughter to the Hostess snowball......it's a special food when you can peel away the "cake" from the filling and it stays in a one piece dome sort of thing.

Must be a regional delicacy...never heard of them up here in Wisconsin.

Snowballs here in Maryland are served at road side stands. There are probably a hundred flavors you can add to the shaved ice. You can top them with ice cream or marshmellow.
I never realized that snowballs were not served to the entire USA!
Ya all should open up a stand...maybe you could get rich this way!!

Every state has a special food that is only available at that state. Like RI has clam chowder soup and stuffed baked lobsters etc. For the fun of it lets do a list of your states food?
