Ok I am confused, I am going on a cruise to Canada Sept. 29th, I see that one usa dollar is worth about 1.50 Canada dollar.....so they say I get more for my money. But maybe something in usa costs a dollar and in Canada it costs 1.50....how do I make out better, can someone splain to me?
I remember working a summer job at the Detroit Zoo in the early 70's. We charged the same price for parking in Canadian and American dollars and used to make a nice "side income" converting currency collected at the gate. Times have changed, but not to the advantage of our neighbors to the North.
