I've been awake for almost 3 hours, now. I think it might be my old work schedule reasserting itself. At least, by now, it's someone else's job to wake up our fine feathered friends and newspaper carriers while I enjoy my coffee.
To-do list is getting very short, indeed. Can't wait for that first whiff of salt air!
Have a great day, all.
Good morning boys and girls. Happy Wednesday. I hate how dark it is when I drive into work these days. Where did the summer go? Another rainy day here in Pittsburgh and I'VE HAD ENOUGH!

Jewel, 2/1/10, RCI cancelled our cruise, (insert sound of sobbing)
Morning, from Montreal where Fall temps rule. Thank goodness it's Wednesday already, it's gonna feel like a long week for me, even if it's only 4 days. The first few days in a daycare with almost all brand new kids has gotta be one of the most stressful experiences of working life! Hand me the ear plugs!
It's another beautiful day in the neighborhood around here.
Donna, I don't teach anymore, but I remember those days when school started up in the fall and all the new children arrived. I can picture exactly what you are going through. This is the only time of the year when I'm glad I'm not doing that anymore. The first few weeks are really wild. Hang in there.
Good Morning From Palm City, Florida, where the gardeners started early this morning! first morning I could sleep in. Didn't walk because we are waiting for some kind of "storm" to come in, local weather says flood watch, good day to read thru some of the threads on CMs.
Good morning CruiseMates from waterlogged Central Florida,
There's a whole lotta flooding going on in this region, although it's not affecting us in our area. Lakes are overflowing and, in order to move it to where it can do the least harm, the water is being shifted from lake to lake by the use of locks & drainage ditches. One guy reported that he was now riding his airboat over places he drove his truck five weeks ago. It's not as bad as the Midwest floods, but it's bad enough!
