Is it just me? Am I jaded after all these years? But I remember that yrs ago the cruise brochures seemed to be more interesting...Filled with more info, mor fun, more pix...just MORE! Maybe I am looking back through rose colored glasses, but planning a cruise back then was different...Wasn't it?..One year while planning a trip on RCI, we booked a cabin, based on what we saw in the brochure..When we arrived ,it was a cabin, that was obstructed, we felt like we didn't get what we paid for...After we got home and checked the brochure, oddly, then..this information was NOT printed in the brochure, nor did the ta know this about this cabin..After a letter, to RCI, they said, that , after the new brochures, which were being printed ..they would now include that info..something so simple like that fact was excluded..go figure..They also sent me a $300.00 gift certificate, which I thought was a nice way to apologize.....So, am I the only one who feels this way.....I suppose it just may be what happens, when you keep on cruisin... I'll have to ask my hubby to answer this one... he's the one who "studies' those brochures till he wears them out!

I'm glad there is an internet since my husband just took my cruise book to work to let a guy look at it who is planning a trip next year. He told me I'd get my book back. It's my thick NCL book with the deck plans and info on the NCL Star that we are taking to Alaska next year. I better get it back!

PS: He didn't find my carnival book!

the brochures have lost some of their "oohh aahh" factor. I still like flipping through them though.
