He is apparently doing fine. Although he is unsupervised during the day it's hard for us to know if he is having seizures while we're gone.
We had two other dogs visiting when the attack occurred, and it happened within a half hour of them arriving. The doc said it was probably not related but a friend of ours asked us if we had a new dog in the house before we ever told him that we did. He said his dog had seizures when they introduced a new dog into the household. Their vet told them they had no scientific proof but his experience was that introducing a new dog into the house can trigger seizures. And it can be a one time occurence or maybe a couple of times but it will not last. Our friend confirmed this, his dog had a couple but that was it.
