Default Dancing and singing the Docs song

Got the docs last night by fedex. 20 more days to San Juan and 21 to sail. Three weeks and counting and the excitment is really mounting. How do you last these last 3 weeks!

You start to make lists and gather things that you will need but might forget, like hubby's cufflinks or that necklace you don't usually wear or a power strip.

You come here daily and your cruisemate friends will help you through the days.

You come to chat where everyone will understand your anticipation and never tire of hearing about your upcoming cruise.

If you haven't already you research and finalize what you will do in all your ports.

You read and re-read you travel docs till they are committed to memory.

But no matter what you do, remember that the anticipation is half the fun. It has lasted much longer than your cruise will and is just as exciting.

Finally you begin to think of what cruise you will book immediately upon your return to help defray the PCD that you are sure to experience.

How to spend the time from Doc dance to Berthday?

Amen to everything Tweety said! In addition, pack, repack, and recheck luggage. Make a to-do and to-take list while you're fairly calm. This is especially important if it's your first cruise. Don't be surprised if you feel a bit dizzy while packing. That's just your cruise becoming real.

Also know that you will forget something. Keep your docs and passport in the same place. Check them daily. Make it a habit so you won't forget them in the last minute excitement before leaving the house. That has been my paranoia for the cruises I've been on.

Happy Doc dancing! We're all dancing with you.

Congratulations on the Docs bj.

I think Tweety covered most of what to do while you wait. She's right about the anticipation being a big part of the cruise experience. That waiting is half the fun. The cruise will go way to fast.

Have a great time dancing.
