We didnīt get a cabin on the cruise to no where. Too bad! Looked into it a little bit too late I guess. They have jr. suites still available but at 390,-Euros....thatīs a bit too steep. Iīve got my neighbor so fired up though on going on a cruise that we might do something for a week together. A week with no headaches...I mean husbands.... There are some great offers with Arosa. Weīll see.
My headache went away after about three Advil, an hour long walk on the Elbe in 100 km/h winds, and four liters of water. The last two should have helped with the two extra pounds, too. <g>
Sorry to hear about the cruise, Karen. It sounds like you're keeping a real positive attitude though. It sure wouldn't surprise me to see you posting real soon that you have one booked. :-)
I will be booking soon! The mini-cruise would have been a stroke of luck and I knew that. Too bad it didnīt work out but everything happens for a reason!
Sorry to hear about your cruise. I hope you and your neihbor can still find one.
As to your husband comment, I can assure that every God fearing man with a wife has many occasions when he shakes his fist heavenward and demands his rib back! :-)

Karen,
We are doing a "chicks" cruise in Dec. on the Grand Princess to celebrate my sister turning the big 40. Come join us. Plenty of room for more ladies. Leaving husbands and kids behind for a week of sun and fun

Karen, have you and your neighbor considered a river cruise? I know of at least one company that offers 7 day trips on the Rhein. Not quite the ocean, but a taste of the elegance. It might cure your headache for a while :-)
Half of the fun is looking at the cruise brochures and trying to decide which one is the perfect one for you! You'll be on that first cruise ship before you know it!
Karen, if NOT getting the 3 day cruise booked is too bad, then what could be better than booking a LONGER one instead? Keep looking girl, I'm sure you will come up with something great. Would you believe, my husband who is VERY impatient about waiting till NEXT Nov. for the QM2, this week tried to book a Mother's Day weekend, 3 days to nowhere (N.Y. - N.Y.) on the same, so that he can "learn his way around" the QM2 before we go for the long trip next year!! Unfortunately, that booking didn't work out either, but you can see how addicted he is!!
Thanks all! It was a bummer that it didnīt work out especially since Hamburg is only 45 minutes away. Talk about uncomplicated!
I was over at my neighborīs house yesterday evening and we are looking into a week on the Arosa Blu. We had fun looking at the brochure and driving our dhs crazy. Her husband canīt understand us at all. He captained a shrimp boat for eleven years and is so happy not to have to be on the water anymore. It was fun pulling his chain.
