Default Change in Itinerary

Is anybody else cruising on RCCL Splendour of the Seas to the Panama Canal on 2/19/04? Do you realize they changed one of the ports? They replaced Grand Cayman with Jamaica! If you are as unhappy with this change in itinerary as I am, please make sure you let RCCL know. If enough of us complain, maybe they will change it back!

Why was it changed? Cruise line must have had a good reason...so I doubt complaining with cause them to change it back. Nothing wrong with Jamaica...you will have a great time. A cruise to ANYWHERE is better than no cruise at all. <G>

I was thinking pretty much along the same lines..good luck..there must be a major reason for the change, and while I agree with your right to complain, nothing will come of it...Read the brochure to see just that...Consider Jamacia a sea day,,grab an upclose lounge at the pool, less crowded buffet too Trip/Monday Chat Host

It was also changed on the same cruise that I am taking 11/17/03. Going to a port in Mexico instead. Since it is at the end of the 12 day cruise, it might be good to just relax and walk around the port. To me it is not that important on where all the stops are it is just the whole cruise atmosphere that I really enjoy. Like others have said, there must be a reason to change.

call your TA and ask them to find out the reason for the change of itineary. Have a great day in Jamacia - climb the falls, or you could take a relaxing river rafting tour, Jamacia is a beautiful, lush, green, tropical island, don't forget to buy some coffee and local coffee liquers- yummy!
