Default Princess Panama Canal

Hi
I am taking a trip in December to the Canal and would like to know a few things, But mainly want to know if anyone has taken a really good tour in Limon or the Panama Canal.
Also in December would I need only summer clothes for that whole trip, or would warmer clothes and a rain slicker be in order
Thank you
Stan

You MIGHT (really just a tiny chance that you might) need a rain slicker, but you should be okay with summer clothes the whole trip (if you are leaving out of Fort Lauderdale or Miami.)

I will be on the Island Princess on 10/27 - will post on return the excursions I did and what I thought of them...including the Panama Canal Train Excursion.

I'd definitely bring a rain poncho or coat. Took one of the Limon boat trips into the rain forest ... and guess what - it rained. Not unusual. I had a light weight plastic rain coat that folds up real small.

the Panama Canal is an amazing sight, but it is so very Hot and Humid, to the point where you can only stay outside for a short amount of time while going through the locks (especially Gatun), you must have a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
