Way to go, Marlins! The Florida Marlins got the job done in Game 1 and held back the mighty Yanks YAY!

Go Marlins, but its too early to celebrate. I have seen this happen many times, the Yankees have pulled this off I think, for 26 world series. ???? It would be nice for the marlins to get another one! <BG>

It probably is too good to be true, but I love it whenever the Yankees lose to anyone. The whole time I was growing up and beyond it seemed like they won EVERY YEAR.

Our local newpaper, whose senior sportswriter is Baseball Hall of Fame member, Hal McCoy, ran his lead article about the World Series on Fri. The headline cracked me up--Evil Empire vs the Guppies. Go Guppies!!

Unfortunately, the "Guppies" lost tonight. The Yankees pitching was too good, and the Marlins pitching was terrible. Looking for better games to come from my favorite team.
