It's not snowing in Calgary.. BUT

it could look like it. It's all actually hale. These pics were taken of our front porch and street about half an hour ago. The storm was surprisingly fierce, and strong, but thankfully didn't last too long.

OK OK..Now get a large glass full of hail, add the juice of 1 orange and 1 teaspoon of sugar�uhhm�no... in your case sweet-n-low, now add Slo Gin. You now have a Slow Screw. How apropos, because it looks like your golf game is screwed for the day anyway.

This pic shows all the leaves blown off the trees in our back yard... stuck to the fence, railing, and laying on the ground.

We did end up with some damage to our roof, and some leaky skylights.... which were thankfully above ceramic flooring, so no water damage inside.

Bet your vehicles had Moose Bumps after get hit with the HAIL.

We changed our roof once after a hail storm.

Haven't seen hail like that since April in England on the way to board the QE2. We don't often get hail in Southern California.

Wow I just flew back from Calgary yesterday (the 15th) and it wasn't like that at 12:20 PM when our plane left. In fact, it was hot. We were there as a marching band in the stampede for the past 9 days. When we first got there on the 7th, it was freezing. Then it got really hot. And now it's hailing again...wow. While I was there, a local told me the saying, "If you don't like the weather in Calgary, just wait until tomorrow." How true that is...
