Countdown Clock??

Hey how do you place a countdown clock in Postings?? Also can you put them in profiles such as in AIM? Thanks!!

Justine,

Click on "Search" above, and when the screen comes up type in 'countdown clock tutorial' and click on "Search". Then click on the first reply (no. 1) and you'll see the format for setting your clock, compliments of MBuckellew.

Looks like everyone has theirs working. If anyone needs extra help, please post.

BTW, I heard a rumor that the site where we get the countdown clocks (it is an independent site not affiliated with Cruisemates) will quit offering them sometime this month. I hope that's not true!

There is another site with countdown clocks. www.timeanddate.com. I'm not sure if we can use them in the posts or not. My computer knowledge is limited.

Moai, thanks for the site. I checked it out and it appears that the countdown clock is part of the code used to write the site, instead of showing up as an image that we can copy and paste into our posts here. So I don't think it will work.

Hopefully I'm wrong about that site shutting down its countdown clocks.

How is everyone placing the images in thier posts, is there a site where you can choose the images to put them in our profiles??

You can find images all over the internet, just do a search for .gif and a lot will pop up. Or check the Cruisemates image library for some cool graphics.
