Gift giving time is nearly upon us once again...Anyone out there giving the ultimate gift <G> a cruise,,,, or cruise momentos or paraphenalia?

(Paraphenalia.. . Sound like drug paraphenalia. May as well be, it's an addiction<G>)

Might just have to give myself one----- Ive gotten to the point where I am very blunt-- this is what I want--- even if is just the ok to book something in the future----- open bookings calling my name--but then again cant be that selfish-- have to wait until we get the lastest update regarding my father in law and his cancer treatment--- Have been trying to talk him into a cruise--- so that might work too

We will be giving a painting we bought at art auction when Wyland was aboard during our Island Princess cruise last month. We bought 2 Wyland paintings at the art auction with intensions of keeping them, but our dog sitter/house sitter fell in love with one. We owe her BIG TIME for the many last moment favors we’ve asked of her. She will be ecstatic...

just the oposite since we are cruising in Feb we are asking Santa for a specific family shore excursion this year.

I would love to give Mrs. Thomas a very long cruise for Christmas but she would accuse me of giving it to her just for my own pleasure. I just couldn't get away with it.

She's now got two dogs and our home owner's association won't allow any more so that's out of the question.

She probably wants a new car but her '93 Civic only has 210K miles on it. It's barely broken in.

She's been wanting some new carpeting in the house but if you move the furniture over the holes you don't even notice.

I'd buy her clothes but she says I buy clothes that look like a hooker. Have you ever seen a 295 lb. hooker?

Oh, I just don't know what to do!

My son has asked for MONEY......to spend on the cruise, of course! He has all his aunts convinced and they are giving him little envelopes that he SWEARS he won't open until the cruise in January!

I personally would like a new bathing suit - 2 sizes smaller than I am now.....

I was thinking that a gift certificate for the tanning salon (to be nice and tan for the cruise) might be a lovely idea. Hope the dh thinks of it....

I thought about getting the dh (remember, he's the one who WILL NOT go on a cruise...) a little plastic ship for the tubbie....hint, hint, honey.

Thomas, how about a coupon book with honey-do coupons in it. Can be redemmed by Mrs. Thomas at anytime. (Tote that barge, lift that bail, move that furniture....)

I'm still looking for that John Grisham book "Skipping Christmas". If I find it, it'll be one Christmas present. Otherwise, I'll have to think of something else cruise-related. There's not much out just yet on the QM2...

DH is getting a book on Alaska, new toiletry kit and kids are getting bear banks to start saving up for June cruise. My Princess cruise is my Christmas present. That is all I wanted. A vacation from DH and Kids...... What more could a mom ask for and on a cruise too..

Hey Donna my Mom just read the book Skipping Christmas...... it was very unlike what she normally reads but she really enjoyed it. A neighbor told us to read it so we have decided that there is a conspiracy against us since were leaving the 17th!!!

Actually the cruise coming up in 10 days is our late anniversary/early Christmas gift to each other. Its the only thing we really want or need!
