Saw that Carnival Legand had the Virus. Hope it was not too serious

From our news in SE Florida, sounded like you hug the porclain goddess for about 2 days. It seems it started on the cruise before this one that just came in today.

Our Chicago paper even had an article about the virus on Carnival Legend, seems this is the second week for that unfortunate sickness

Moon - hate to burst your bubble, but the flu shot you will be getting will be for the respiratory flu (influenza) not the stomach flu (norovirus or Norwalk virus.) By all means get the flu shot! This years influenza season looks to be absolutely a bear. As for the norovirus, just wash your hands frequently - best prevention!

Yes, wash your hands often and avoid touching your eyes with your fingers. That seems to be a real conduit for infections.

Might pack along some of those sanitary wipes to carry with you too, so you can use those after handling commonly touched things such as tour bus rails, gangway rails, and doorknobs when you can't wash.

Regards,
Thomas

we have taken to packing a small bottle of hand santizer (Purell type stuff) with us when we travel, common sense and basic good hygeine are the key to staying well.

I market Air Ionizer's, for discounts. Why don't you take one with you on a cruise or anywhere, and eliminate the worry about the Virus?
These can be plugged right into your room and are very compact.
If anyone want's more information just email me back.
I will be glad to show you then you make your own decision.
Regards;
Herbie D.
