Default port charges and taxes

Is $592 in port and tax charges for two people reasonable? The departure port is Los Angeles to the Mexican Riviera for 7 days on Royal Caribbean.

Go west,

That seems high. I did some checking and the port charge is $139 p/p with a tax of $28.05 p/p. Or $334.10 for two.

Thanks much for the information. That is a big difference from what we were told.

You might demand to see the invoice. The port and taxes are shown as "non-commissionable fees". If they balk at that then maybe they are adding some "fees" of their own! <G>
