St. Thomas postage

Since St. Thomas is a U.S. territory, can I send something to the continental U.S. from there with a regular 37 cent stamp? (Or ordinary postcard stamp?) Or does it require additional postage?
I know there is a small post office in the Havensight mall so that's why I'm asking.

Yes, Michelle, you use U.S. postage stamps in the U.S. Virgin Islands. All the postage rates and rules are the same as in the U.S.

Just don't mail anything urgent from the post office in St. Thomas. The mail from there takes its jolly time to get to the states. We pretty much always beat our postcards home even when St. Thomas is the first port of call.
