Treats or Square Footage?

Ok, lets pretend the Cruise fairy has decide YOU are going to be a winner of:
An upgrade to a suite from your balcony cabin, OR
A $500.00 shipboard credit.
Would this be a dilemma, would you find it hard to make a choice?
I would take the $500.00, in a heartbeat, what about YOU?

We've had a suite twice and I'd take the suite upgrade if available. The extra room, service, and treats are worth the $500 any day. Especially when suites are often five hundred or a thousand more per person.

I spend so little time in my cabin, a suite would be a waste. I'll take the shipboard credit and spend it on photos and gifts probably!

I'm torn....balcony cabins are nice and just fine for me and I love shipboard credit! But I would really love to try a suite!

Money, money, money, we take the money! A suite would be sweet, but money is honey and we sure could have fun with the extra, we have to save to cruise so, there is rarely much left over for "extras"

Shipboard credit here. We don't spend a whole lot of time in our cabin, I would much rather have a little extra money to spend on the trip.

Just returned from our suite on the Elation.....hummmm that's a hard question to asnwer but if I had a balcony cabin the credit would be great....but then again I loved the suite and the jacuzzi tub....guess the question is too hard to answer!!!!! The more I think about the suite the more i want another one!!!

$500.00 shipboard credit would take care of bar tabs, shops, casino. Then I'd feel like I was $500.00 ahead of paying for my next cruise.

Would also depend on the length of the cruise....if it was only 7 days, take the money; if it was a 30 day cruise, take the suite!
