That's enforcement.....?#*%.......well, it's 3:43 AM, can't sleep and this is what I'm thinking about....guess I need a hobby....Anyway, just wondering which cruiselines actually enforce the smoking/non smoking policy. It seems the only Carnival ship I have read any enforcement on is Paradise; I guess it is easy as no smoking is no smoking. But, what about other ships? Oh and BTW gang, please no bashing, just asking a question.
I think trying to enforce a non-smoking policy would be tough since most cruise ships are under flags of other countries so OSHA ( protects employees)and even labor laws do not have to be followed. There is no question that smoking and second hand smoke
is a public health issue and it should be treated as a public health issue and employees and the public should be protected by providing a smoke free environment
