If you got to your destination, and unpacked, and realized you forgot to pack ONE thing that you couldn't survive without,[other then medication], and went to go replace it, instantly, what would it be?..underwear,toothpaste,..you tell us I guess for me it would be a hairdryer, this is hard..my list could be long !!!..Oy Vey

I forgot my bathing suit once... but didn't run out and buy a replacement since bathing suits are expensive. It was a 3-day cruise and it rained the whole time anyway!
On the same cruise, the night before the cruise I realized I forgot my cardigan sweater I wear with everything (I am cold-natured.) We were staying at our departure port and had our own car, so luckily we were able to dash over to the local mall the morning of the cruise and I found a replacement at JCPenney. I was so glad, too - the air-conditioning was a little overenthusiastic on that ship!
I'm with Michelle, couldn't live without that sweater!
On my recent cruise I forgot sunscreen, bought a bottle for $10 aboard the ship and never cracked it open! Turns out sitting by the pool wasn't my thing. I can do that at home!

Never forgot anything very important, which is amazing since normally I can't remember what I did 5 minutes ago, but I think I would have to go buy a replacement bathing suit, because the pool and the beach are where I like to spend my time!
I forgot shoes once so I picked up a boot I saw on the side of the road. Then it made me wonder why is it you only see one on the side of the road. Why don't people toss both out of the car?
Anyway, at the pier I noticed a guy with my other boot. We looked at each other and busted out laughing.
On our very first cruise my husband forgot his toothbrush......the one we bought was sooooooooo rough when we got home he used it to scrape the paint off the house.....he's never forgotten his toothbrush since. <S>
First cruise two years ago, I am not a dressy person, I hate to wear a dress, probably been like 20 years since I wore one, so for the cruise I deceided to buy two dresses for my first cruise, bought them months before hand. Wanted to pack then last as to not wrinkle them.
Soooooooooooo guess what I forgot to pack? THE DRESSES.
Hi:
It's not so much what we forgot but what we lost and were lucky enough to find.......
My husband and I were flying to Miami for our Millineium cruise and on the airplane he was wearing a sweater with front pockets in it. He said, this is a great sweather with these pockets, I can put anything in there and not lose it. I told him it looked very dangerous to me as it was open on both sides, but he didn't listen to me and put his billfold in it. When we got to our connecting flight, they told us we should get off and walk around as there was a wait to leave again but it would be the same plane. We were walking around and when my husband went to buy something out of one of the shops, he said he didn't have his billfold. I about went unglued. We traced our steps back to the plane and a young man had his billfold in his hands, handing it over to the flight attendant. He found it laying in our seats. She verified it belonged to my husband by his picture and we bought the young man a drink. He didn't want a reward. Without that we would have had to cancel our Millineium cruise (sorry if I spelled that wrong) and would have had to figure a way back home without any I.D, for him. From that day forward, I carry his wallet in my purse with me. I've never lost anything and I carry all the important papers, etc. He's never worn that sweater again. We were very lucky........
Happy Cruising.....
Anita
PS One time also, he packed his wallet in his suitcase when we were flying home from Las Vegas (before 9/11) and we were lucky they took a picture of his together for ID and let him board the plane.
