Wow, this hasn't happnened in a very long time. I'm the first to wish you all a good morning. Another freezing one in the "Burgh"...currently 5 degrees...but warming up to 25! I have an all morning, possibly all day, meeting. Won't get much else done today. Happy hump day!

Jewel, 2/1/10, RCI cancelled our cruise, (insert sound of sobbing)
Good morning cruisers. Just another busy day in the neighborhood around here. Up early, into work by 5:30 am, couple of appointments this afternoon, and tonight, well something will probably come up! Oh, and I need to run by a body shop and get an estimate on fixing a "teeny-tiny" dent in my car. The fender bender was not my fault though, I swear that tree failed to yield right-of-way! lol
GMCMs, Another chilly, but sunny day down here. Would you believe I have sweaters that have lasted for 20 years! At least they still fit, although a little snugger. I'm off to get my halter monitor put on. Ahhh the joys of aging!! Thank God I have a cruise to look forward to. Will have to wait for a cat scan and breathing test before i know anything about my lung problems, although I liked the new specialist I had to go to. I just want to say thanks for being out there. My Cruisemates are special people. Have a great day. Stay warm and safe.
Good morning from chilly south west Florida <42> I am soooo cold. It is only supposed to warm up to 62...my nose is clogged and all my kids are feeling sick....
My girlfriend is flying in this morning from Mass...and I am looking forward to it. They have some massive marriage problems etc and she just needs a friend to talk too. Tonight we are heading to church and I hope she will get a clearer perspective. We have been friends with them for over 10 years.
I am skipping my morning walk, but it is too cold anyway. I know us Floridians are whimps.................
Phyll have a great time with Linda today.....Jeanne have fun wearing the new addition around your neck...<VBG> I am sure all will go well...

June 1st 2015--- Denali Explorer Cruise on Star Princess!
good mornin...it is -25 here with the wind chill & we are getting more snow in the next 3 days....aaahhh I wanna go on another cruise!! The kids went to school today but they were not too happy about it. Last week the buses were cancelled & their sitter drove them most days but they had a rough week without us around. They told me that the next time we cruise they are comin with!!
Jeanne: I hope you feel better soon & good luck with all your tests....stay positive!!
Mike, do you at least get to wear some cute mouse ears or something??
I *should* be at the spa working out, but alas, I much prefer to sit on the computer!
The coffee tastes good and I am feeling delightfully lazy...

Morning all from Montreal, where the minuses prevail. Still in layers, and Sue's "cold"60 degrees sounds mighty good to me! I'd probably go to the beach!
Jeanne, I too had to do the Holter monitor for atrial fibrilation and this was before I was 40! Not much inconvenience, and the results were ok; I hope yours are too...
Mike, your tests sound a bit like the ones my ear specialist did to me when I had that bout with Labrynthitis. Tipped me back in the chair, then sat me up suddenly and the whole world spun around! No nice colours though.....
Phyll, hope you and Linda enjoy a great lunch, and I know you will be thinking about us, and raise a cold one in our honour!
Sassy, we're experiencing much the same temps as you, so I know what you're feeling - except I didn't get a break last week! Enjoy the memories!
And finally, Mermaid, you gotta watch out for those trees that jump into the middle of the street!
Good Morning cruisemates! ONE more day of work , today, before I start flapping my arms and heading south.
Weather here in Calgary has been holding steady in the 30-40 F range, but is forecast to collapse below zero, by the weekend. BUT... I won't be here<G>
Of course I'll feel bad leaving my boys behind to suffer. (Ya right!) They're young, they need to suffer to grow into their Canadian manhood . lol
Got that out of my system! I feel much better now.
I have no idea what I did to my puter but whatever it was, my puter didnīt appreciate it and protested. To make a long story short, my puter is running again. I donīt know why I keep having this thing repaired. I think itīs time to invest in something new!
Hope all those having tests fair well. Certainly not something fun to look forward to!
Off to take Toby on her afternoon walk. Sheīs waiting and not being very patient!
And a god morning from the NC Coast, cold here too, was only 24 last night. Had to leave big light bulb burning on my backporch so all my hanging baskets and Geraniums will not freeze. Oh I wish i where in Antigua right now
Yep, cold here, too. I heard it was 28 in the Fla panhandle overnight. But I had trouble sympathizing with Key West's 55. I've alway kind of wanted to see the smudge pots and circulation towers operating in the orange groves. I've seen the pots, I've seen the towers, but I've never seen them used.
I had one of my laughing fits driving Chris to work this morning. The joke I heard:
A man was visiting a friend's apartment after the bars closed. He noticed through an open bedroom door that his friend had a Chinese gong.
He asked his friend, "Why do you have a gong in the bedroom?"
The friend said, "That's a talking clock."
"Talking clock? That's a gong!" The friend protested.
"No, it's a talking clock. Watch!" The friend picked up the mallet, and hit the gong. The sound made every window in the building rattle. The walls themselves vibrated.
And through the sound, voices could be heard emanating from apartments above, below, and on either side: "IT'S THREE O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING, YOU @#%&&!"
Have a great day, all!
