Default checking in ...

I don't know how long it has been, but it has been interesting.

First, there was the totally unscheduled cruise to the local hospital for two weeks. Collapsed lung. Like everything else about "the illness", the docs are baffled ande just given up on looking for explanations.

Next up, my birthday cruise -- on the Titanic. The artifact exhibition is coming to Philadelphia and we managed to get tickets for my actual birthday.

Somewhere in there, my mother died.

Our Transgiving cruise has been set. A week in Mexico. The kids are all welcome. They just have to get there.

Hope all is well with one and all.

Pamda

Sorry to hear about your mom. May God's blessings be on you and your family.

I hope you are breathing well now. The collapsed lung sounds scary, especially when you don't know what caused it.

The Titanic--what can I say? Sounds like a great exhibition.

Ed

Gosh Pamda, We have all been wondering what happened. We missed you. Glad you checked in rather than checking out.

We are so sorry of your bad experiences and glad you are on the mend. Helen and I send our condolences on the loss of your Mother.

Hope to see you around often.

Wow, Pam, you sure have been through a lot lately. I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. From what you've said about her, she was a wonderful lady, full of spirit, who will be missed terribly.

Also, sorry to hear you've been ill. That sounds incredibly painful. Hope you are feeling all better now.

The "cruises" sound nice though. Enjoy. And thanks for checking in, we've been wondering about you.

Cheers,
Michelle P.

Marsha and I send you our sympathy on your loss of your Mother..We are so glad though that you are doing better..Like Ed said, It's scary to not know what caused your lung to collapse.
On the up beat though..We went to the Exhibit when it was in Memphis several years ago and all I can say is WOW!..if you do the self tour with the headphones, carry plenty of tissues..It really was amazing and I am sure they have recovered more artifacts since we saw it...Stay well now Pamda and hope to see more of you around here.
Our prayers are with you and your family. God Bless.

Thanks to all! As to my mom, she was 91. She had been having TA's, which are cumulative and we were waiting for "the big one." It came on July 1, overnight, and she died around 5 PM. Everyone was "ready" .. I think Mom was more ready than anyone else. It's still tough, but not painful.
