Beautiful here today. Expect a high of 75. <G> Talked to son in Maryland and they cut them loose from work at 4am this morning because of the snow. They day crew doesn't even have to come in. Lucky stiffs.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day. I am ready for my second diet coke and then time to get ready for work.
Think I may actually call up and book our cruise tonight. Lord knows as excited as I am already, this will only feed the flames!
I wish I were back in school just so I could have a snow day. The drive in was "interesting", but I made it and only 10 minutes later than usual.

No Michelle…We have hurricane days instead…but it’s not the same…you can go play in the snow…we can’t go play in a hurricane. I guess we could tie ourselves to a light pole and play ring-around-the-rosy really, really fast…

All you northeasterners - get ready. We have 12" on the ground & it is still coming down but not as fast. Wind is picking up now however so it is blowing & drifting pretty good. All schools between here & Omaha closed including the colleges. We actually went to work this morning - slow & steady goes it but left early. I promised Mark a good batch of spaghetti but he is out snowblowing right now. Just came in to change his gloves & they are frozen.
Haven't had a snow day since 1998, when we had 8 in a row (without power!!) in the great Ice Storm of Jan. 98. Don't want a repeat of that! Hope you keep that snow down in Ontario, but I heard it might sneak up here to Quebec...
