How soon can you plan on receiving your documents? We booked ours through AAA and we're hearing not until 20 days prior to sailing. I've been reading some of the posts and see that people get there docs upwards of 50 days prior to sailing.

Can you tell we're excited??????

I have gotten docs sometimes 2 months before sailing and other times less than two weeks prior. Depends on a lot of things. Just remember the anticipation of the upcoming cruise lasts much longer than most cruises and is quite exciting. Enjoy it all.

5 weeks until my next one. I've aready declared a full scale Docwatch! First cruise it was 2 weeks before. Second cruise 6 weeks. I am poised and ready to dance at any moment.

USPS, UPS, FEDEX-- BEWARE! Doc intelligence sometimes requires committed stalking of couriers. The docs are out there! Be alert. Be very alert!

We booked our cruise through Grand Circle in Boston. They've told us that they'd "try" to get our docs to us seven days before we fly to London. TA's can cut it really close.

I think it depends on the cuiseline. Last year we cruise d Costa and didn't get our doc's till to weeks prior to the cruise. This year we are sailing Royal Caribbean and received our doc's two weeks ago, Friday, and are sailing on the 16th of Feb.
