Today, the Boston Herald has a front page picture and headline, of the uprising in Haiti..The picture was actaully quite frightening....I know this has happened before in Haiti, and again we know, RCI has stopped going there for the duration I know years ago, one of my sailings missed going for the very same reason.....Admittatbly,I don't know how far Labadee is removed from danger, but you never know, I have heard, and read some posts that people are disappointed, but safety is a priority, and I know if I were booked, I would be happy to miss it again.....Trip

We will be on the Voyager in May and one of our stops is Labadee. If things stay the way they are right now, I'll be very happy to skip this port despite the fact we have never been there and were looking forward to it. Our safety is much more important than a day at the beach.
