Poll- Favorite Cruise Ship Entertainer

As most of us know, many cruise ship entertainers are less than stellar. My favorite singer (on a cruise ship) to date is Joni Butler. We heard her on the Star Princees last April. She was an outstanding vocalist and a very genuine and warm person. What person or group do you wish to see or hear again on some future cruise? I'm just curious...

Mario D'Andrea, great comedy, singing and guitar playing, he had the audience singing and dancing in the aisles. Well, a few dancing in the aisles. {{grin}}

After being on the Voyager, one of my new favorites is Inis Henderson, he does impersonations, and was excellent. Comedians, my favorite it Bruce Gold. You are right Chuck, entertainment on ships has gone downhill, yet it seems they are putting so much more money into them, I guess it needs to START with talent.

By far the most talentedentertainer I've seen was Larry Garlutzo on the Legend, and he was the Cruise Director!!

Our all-time favorite entertainer on any of our cruises has been Perry Grant who until recently was with HAL. He entertained in the Piano Bar and his humor had us falling on the floor. I understand he has left HAL for another cruiseline.

We loved singer Jane Powell ("Come back chocolate goddess" as she told us to say).

Many good comedians, too -- Sarge is always a fave.

I'm not a big fan of cruise ship entertainment, but I distinctly remember one performer on the Carnival Legend from last year.....Christopher Allen Graves. He did a review of Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. songs......he was the best I have seen on any ship, and he was just a wonderful person too offstage.
