Geo lesson for you Kuki. Equador is in SA and Kenya is in Africa. I know you were just kidding.

Haven't stood on the equator. But I have been at the Four Corners and had each limb in a different state all at once.

Cheers,
Michelle P.

Ray .. we know you and Helen have been practically everywhere, and we appreciate you sharing your memories with us through the pictures.

However, do you think you can also show us pictures of places you haven't been yet? <VBG>

Great picture, Ray! I've sailed across, have the certificate that says I did and didn't check which way the toilet was flushing, Mike! Namely because I'm too afraid to leave the lid up, for all the noise it makes!!! (G)

I have a picture from Old Royal Observatory, 0 Longitude for the Prime Meridian, Greenwich mean time and all that stuff! Had to get a picture because of the incredible hike up the hill!

I haven't stood on the equator, but I have stood on the Prime Meridian and have pictures to prove it.

Mike asked "Did I see the water spinning in one direction on one side and the other direction on the other side.

Yes I did. The Guide demostrated with a bucket of water. Stood about 40 feet to the north and the water was spinning in Clockwise dirtection. Went 40 feet the other side and it was spinning in counterclock wise direction. Then he held up the bucket with a spicked you could see the water spirling. It was a fascinating experience. And too he put the buck right on the line and the debris stayed still.

Ray, that is really cool! Don't ever think I'll catch up with you and Helen in your travel adventures but I'll give it my best try!!! :-)

I really enjoy all your pictures, tidbits about your trips, gives me even more incentive to get to those "far away places", just like in the song!

I have a picture and I will try to get around to scanning it in soon. I'm not sure how I picked which state to put which hand or foot in! But it was a real thrill for me as I've always wanted to do that. (I know, I am a nerd. )

Cheers,
Michelle P.
