cabin at bow of ship
Hi there, i hope to book on RCI Voyager of the Sea, at the moment the only outside cabin they are offering me is on 6th or 7th deck at the bow of the ship. any comments? I would love a balcony but it is much more expensive.

Jane, if you are at all prone to seasickness, you might want to reconsider. I usually am not bothered with this, however when we had a forward facing cabin on the 6th deck of the Millennium, I was GREEN. A little Bonine took care of that and I was good to go for the rest of the cruise.

I have to go with Mgram on this one. Cabins close to the bow are my least favorite location.

We've been on the bow many time (last 3 cruises for me).

Yep you will feel more motion, but a Bonine -- or two -- does the trick. It's never bothered me more than having to take 2 in a day, and I get car sick in a heartbeat.

Just wanted to give you the other side of the coin.

Jane, if that's all the ship has left i would book it. You will feel more motion in a forward cabin, but have the Bonine handy and you should have no problems. Think of it as getting rocked to sleep at night!
