I booked it!!! Woo Hooo this is our first cruise, and first family vacation. I did it over the phone, and it was $20 more than if I booked it online. Small price to pay, it was still $300 lover than my local TA's price, which was way lower than Carnival's price. I didn't qualify for the balcony upgrade because I booked a 7a (partially obstructed balcony), and I guess that is a class in itself, but I did get one of Carnival's $300 coupon books. The lady I s/w was great, answered all my question. When I asked my local TA if she could match, she acted like she was offended I would even ask, so obviouslly she wasn't right for me. So far, so good w/ bestpricecruises.com!! Thanks!!
I tried to use them this week, but the listed prices don't include port and tax charges--so when I came down to actully choosing a room, the price was 30% higher than listed on the front page--? Yikes!
I use them all the time. The TA I deal with there is always professinal and is always willing to go the extra mile for you with getting the most for your money when prices drop or putting goodies in your room and getting upgrades
