Default Why Kuki is REALLY hosting that cruise Sept. 20th

"Somebody's gotta get outa Dodge City"....

From the Sustainable Resource Development Dept. of the Province of Alberta website:

Moose Seasons
The following are composites of all seasons available in each hunting region. Archery seasons are those where only a bow and arrow may be used. General seasons are those in which a firearm or a bow and arrow may be used. Antlered, antlerless and special licence (obtained through a draw) seasons have been combined. Specific season information is provided in the current Alberta Guide to Hunting Regulations, available on-line and in hard copy.

Seasons (last update 98 May)

Boreal - Archery: late Aug. to late Oct. General Firearm:Sept. 1 to late Nov.
Mountains - Archery: late Aug. to late Nov. General Firearm: mid Sept. to late Nov.
Foothills - Archery:late Aug. to late Oct. General Firearm:mid Sept. to late Nov.
Parkland - Archery: early Sept. to late Oct. General Firearm:early Nov. to mid Dec.
Prairie - Archery: early Sept. to late Oct. General Firearm: Month of November

Moose Licence

Resident Fee: $31.75
Non-Resident Canadian Fee $ 130.97
Non-Resident Alien Fee $ 247.77

Weapons
In Alberta you may hunt with a bow and arrow or a firearm.

Bow and Arrow Hunters hunting with a bow and arrow must obtain a Bowhunting Permit in addition to other licences (see Licences and Fees). Bows must have a draw weight of not less than 18 kg (40 lb.). Arrowheads must be at least 2.2 cm (7/8 in.) in width. Crossbows are legal for hunting in regular (i.e., firearms) seasons (except for migratory birds). Crossbows are not legal in bow-only seasons (except for handicapped hunters who are qualified and have a crossbow licence) (for more information, contact a local office of the Fish and Wildlife Service).

Firearms In general, you may hunt with either a shotgun (gauge no greater than 10), or a rifle. A shotgun must not be capable of holding more than three shells in the magazine and chamber at the same time. It is unlawful to hunt with a pistol, revolver or any firearm that is capable of firing more than one bullet during one pressure of the trigger.

For big game hunting:

It is unlawful to use ammunition less than .23 calibre,
Shotguns must have a gauge greater than .410.
Bullets must expand on impact.
Any auto-loading firearm must not be capable of holding more than five cartridges in the magazine.

What i want to know is: when is Moose Hunting Season in the Caribbean????

During hunting season, for a moose, the trick is finding things to wear that make a great disguise. This particular disguise is also good for office parties.
