Default flight question

I was just browsing the new carnival web page and they have in their FAQ that no flights should be booked (for return flights) before 2pm. We booked our flight through Carnival and they have us leaving IAH at 1:01 pm. called carnival and they won't talk to us since we booked through Travelo####y. So I called Travelo####y and they told us not to worry about just tell the Pursers desk that we want to embark first. She also tells me that since Carnival booked the flights they are responsible. Well according to the very fine print. Carnival takes no responsibility for any airplane problems. So should we worry...........or just let it go?

Also another stupid cruise question . We are filling out the Elation luggage tickets and it asks for our room number. We have not been assigned a room yet since we booked a Guarantee..............do I just leave that portion blank, or write Gurarntee in the room assignment . Thanks

Lenay

Lenay,
You should be okay with a 1PM flight time and when you fill out your forms when you board and again during the cruise you will be able to tell them that you have an early flight and they will allow you to get off the ship as one of the first group. The one thing that your agent does have wrong is that CCL is NOT responsible for your flights. The airline is responsible for them. Again, I still would not worry about it.
Jim

As Jim said Carnival is NOT responsible for problems from the airline and you should be able to make a 1PM flight.

As far as your luggage tags when you get to the pier the people who take your luggage to send through to your room will have a clipboard with your room number. Tell them you have a TBA room and they will tell you what to mark on the tag for a room number or they will mark the tag for you.
