Default Nassau Dolphin Swim

We are going to Nassau soon on the Fantasy! So I was excited to book the dolphin swim for my son who loves ALL animals. Anyway I went to a reffered site that stated the dolphin 'swim' price would go up in May 2004. OUCH! $150 is allready a lot for me. Anyway, the site also stated that they would honor the old priced if booked prior. I did and was charged the NEW price. I called to get it changed and not only would they not change it, I no longer had a spot. I recieved the following e-mail today. (below) You think I would of been called prior to I wanting the offered discount. I feel that my spot was given to someone who paid the higher price. Just a stoke of bad luck, or shady business?

Dear Eric,
First of all thank you for your patience these past days.
As you well know it is never our intention to cause our guests, any inconvenience. Our veterinarians recommended that we run some precautionary tests. These tests are time consuming and we have to run a range of tests. Quite simply, on their advice we had to limit and subsequently cancel visitors to the facility to run those tests. The booking schedule for May 2004 are at a stand still until further notice. Our animal's health and well-being is our top priority and we will never compromise on that.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

At the moment, we are waiting for a few lab test results to come back and the vets to give the ok to resume operations. We feel that this will happen soon.

Dolphin Encounters remains committed to providing our animals with the highest levels of animal care.

We will keep you up-to-date on a timely basis.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Ms. L. Bannister.
