Okay, you all have soooo helpful with my questions, I thought I would ask one that could be fun and informative. On our first cruise, we had one day at sea that was really rainy. We spent the day napping and playing cards. What do you like to do on rainy days at sea???
I usually bring along a book that I have been wanting to read and find a nice quiet spot and put on my headset and turn on my mp-3 player. Also I bring my portable scrabble game and usually meet people by asking them to join me
Find a quiet lounge or window with an ocean view and read. Participate in whatever is going on around the ship (things I might usually miss while sunning/reading/consuming Coronas on deck on a sunny day).
The first day out of N.Y. last summer on the Legend was miserable and rainy, but we took advantage of it by taking a ship tour (so we could find our way around all week), played Trivia several times until I won a ship-on-a-stick, visited all the shops, explored the ship, and relaxed with good book. Much prefer the sunny days though!
The ships with the magradomes, are the best..you are protected, & still by the pool...I have not had an extended rainy day..but on the CM Golden cruise a couple of years ago, we had a very cold day...not that stinks, to be in thr Carib, and be cold...also so choppy we could not get to the private island..
Trip, with her book & tea!

On a four day Alaska cruise we had four days of rain, we got to do all of the things that we never had the time for on any of our other cruises. Sure hope that we don't have seven rainy days on our next cruise

There are four major food groups Dark chocolate, milk chocolate.white chocolate, and chocolate truffles
On our most recent cruise we had rain the first two nights. It didn't put a damper on any of the evening activities - dinner, show, dancing in the lounges. The biggest negative was that we couldn't use our balcony for two nights and the next day we had a big puddle on the balcony. The rain didn't matter much at all!
