POLL - What Ship has the MOST beautiful dining room at Sea?

Many of the dining rooms on ships are breathtaking..but I know I still have a favorite... and that's the Grand Restaurant on the Celebrity Century.

I think it just oozes class.

Where do you cast your vote for the most beautiful dining room?

I would have to say I was impressed by the main dining room on the Mercury for its looks. I just wasn't impressed with the food

I am empressed with any Dining Room that has food. Love them all and we have been in a few. About 62 at last count. So I can't name any favorite.

Hi:
I've been on seven different cruise lines and over 30 cruises, and I would have to say that the RCCL ships have the prettiest dining rooms, of all that I've seen so far. Although, honorable mention has to go to the Disney ships, because of the dining room walls changing colors to fit the mood, as we ate; it was wonderful.

Manhattan Dining Room on Mercury gets my vote (compared to 12 ships I've been on).

I love the dining rooms on the Voyager class of RCCL. Very elegant and romantic...like that late scene in Titanic when they meet again on the staircase..

Paging through an RCI brochure several years ago the Rhapsody dining room looked amazing!

I didn't realize how beautiful the dining room was on the Voyager of the Seas until we ate breakfast on the last day on the first floor. Can't remember the exact name of the dinging room, but it was gorgeous. I'll have to be sure to visit the first floor of the other dining rooms we eat in before leaving the ships. It is nice to see them from different perspectives.

This is an anti-vote:
Definately NOT the Bacchus dining room on the Carnival Miracle! Although I'm sure it looked wonderful in the original design sketches, those giant, glowing, pink Pepto-Bismal splatters they call "grapes" have got to go!

Haven't actually been there yet, but in the pictures and on TV, the Brittania restaurant on the QM2 looks mighty impressive. I'll let you know when I get back next Nov.!!

For me, teh prettiest dining rooms were on HAL's Maasdam and Rotterdam.

Having sailed on 8 different lines including Cunard, and the dining rooms all look the same to me.

I haven't seen enough dining rooms to judge. I think I agree with Ray here, any dining room with food in it impresses me.

Mercury's Manhattan gets my vote after 50 cruises (although I like the light airy feelings on RCCL ships.) Lots of nice windows.

I loved the Norway dining room....the beautiful staircase...it was lovely.
