I just turned the computer back on. My nephew & I were just sitting here @ the kitchen table talking about how some rain would be nice. Hoping Mark would get home from fishing as the lightening was starting. Well THEN! guess what we got. Rain (sideways) 50 mph winds & golf ball size hail. Well our gardening efforts from earlier today have been partially demolished. Mark got home by the way unscathed. No other damages that I can see at this point except some broken branches off of the big tree.
PS - for all the fisherman - 4 bluegills, 3 bass & 3 crappie
I live in the most SE part of Wisconsin.
The Storms were awful all night. I thought for sure it was a tornado.
Lightning, Hail, Wind and flooding. All's calm now. For a little while any way
they are predicting more to come.
Happy Mothers Day.
My DH just came home from a week long (Men's only) fishing trip UP-North.
He caught lots of fish but only 2 keepers (Walleye) yummy!
We live in Iowa. Those storms really swept through the midwest last nite. Speaking of Walleye in Minnesota however - we are spending a week w/the boat (not a ship - a boat) on Cass Lake in June. Plan on walleye & muskie.
